Orleans Camera Invitational Photography Show 2022
I received my first ever invite to participate in an invitational photography show! It will be held from 9/3-10/29 at Orleans Camera on the Cape. Yesterday Lorraine and I met with a custom framer to print and frame my ONE image that I am allowed to enter! Each invited photographer is allowed one image. The show will also include some select showcased Cape Cod photographers and their work. Needless to say I am thrilled for this opportunity! My immediate impulse was to enter a Snowy. And a very, very close second impulse was a Sandhill Crane. The Snowy won out because I did want my image to be taken on the Cape. There are no requirements for the type of image to be submitted - the stated goal of the show is to “show your subject, your style and your finished work”.
So here’s to Snowy! Thank you Snowy(s) - it was a thrill this past winter. This invitation makes me feel a lot better about the little patch of frostbite that I still have on my nose from my Snowy mornings… :-)
