The Power of all of You!
Recently on our trip to Moosehead Lake...
Unfortunately I have very difficult news to share with all of you…. Very recently I took Lorraine to the ER late at night thinking she had appendicitis… Unfortunately, a large Ovarian mass was discovered instead. To make a long story short… she is scheduled for major surgery next Tuesday at Baystate in Springfield with an incredible Gynecologic Oncologist and surgical team. In addition to the mass a couple of other concerning spots were discovered. There is hope that all could be benign. Biopsies will be performed during surgery so by the end of the day next Tuesday we will have all of our answers…
I am asking each of you for a favor…when you have a minute to either make a post to this blog - which I will then forward to Lorraine, or to send her an email at sandflea@comcast.net and just say hello, give her words of encouragement, a smile, or any kind of message at all.
We all know the power of nature to heal us…. and we also know the awesome power of love and support from family and friends that helps lift each of us through difficult times.
I will sign off with this photo from my last morning at Ragged. I have tried countless times to capture this shot for you and I finally did that morning. The fog was lifting all around me as the sun was rising right behind this group of evergreens on the small island in that second pond creating this dazzling sight…
