Dune Shacks and Outhouses!
This morning I bundled up and with my headlamp on I headed out on a new path (to me) through the dunes to see what dune shacks and outhouses I could find!
The dune shacks are out in what is called the Peaked Hill Trust area of Provincetown. It is another world way out there in the dunes on the edge of the world. The mission of the Trust is to preserve and maintain the dune shacks in the Cape Cod National Seashore. We had a little snow overnight and also while I was out there - absolutely stunning! Talk about a dramatic sky!! No wind - just stillness and absolute silence…
