Orleans Camera is hosting a Black & White Photography Show - Nov. 19, 2022 - January 14th, 2023. Each participant is able to submit two photographs.

Lorraine and I spent a week up in NH in June. This was one of my amazing mornings in my kayak.

While we were up in NH one morning this summer I got up and out into my kayak before sunrise. I quietly made my way diagonally across the lake to the opening of the back cove. Lorraine likes to say that I look like a submarine with a periscope when I am in my kayak!

So here’s to Snowy! Thank you Snowy(s) - it was a thrill this past winter. This invitation makes me feel a lot better about the little patch of frostbite that I still have on my nose from my Snowy mornings… :-)

Here are my 2022 submissions - we are allowed a total of 10. There are many categories other than birds so this year I entered one for wildlife and insects/other!
